In celebration of the Army Cadet Force being 150 years old this year there are nationwide and local activities taking place.

On the Mendips near Priddy Circles, well known to past and present cadets, a tree planting session starting at 10am will be held at the Castle of Comfort, on both Saturday, February 27, and Sunday, February 28

Also on Sunday, February 28, the cadets will display from Glastonbury Tor the figures 'Cadet 150'.

On June 5, at the Bath and West Show, massed bands of the three sections of the Cadet Force will be performing, with an evening display joining the Ghurka Brigade Band in closing the show. And June 20 is special with a church service at St Magdelene Church, Taunton followed by a march past again of all three sections.
