Parents have been urged to be vigilant after a man exposed himself outside a Bath primary school.

Extra police patrols have been laid on at St John's RC Primary, in Oldfield Park, after an incident at around 9am on Monday.

A letter has been sent to parents saying the man was behaving "extremely erratically and in a potentially threatening manner".

The suspect is described as a black man in his 40s, who was wearing a beige raincoat and dark trousers, and may have put on a blond wig and a balaclava at one point.
