Bath City manager Adie Britton admitted that he may be forced to make changes if results get much worse after his side came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw at home to Barrow.

With several players out injured and more knocks picked up against Barrow, Britton is already lining up a couple of loan signings but said that more changes might be needed if the current crop of players fail to perform.

"A lot of the lads at this moment in time, their confidence is fragile because they're saying: 'Are we good enough for this league?" said Britton.

"Myself and Arch (assistant manager Lee Howells) are challenging them and a lot of the lads know they're on trial, because we have to produce the goods or I will have to make changes.

"They deserve the opportunity to have a go and they will continue to get the opportunity but anything less than a reasonable run of results will mean I have to make changes and they know that.

"If we are picking up a point a game that's the lowest that's acceptable, if it were worse than that I'd have to change it, sooner rather than later.

"We are going to make some changes anyway - it does depend a little bit on the injury situation, which is quite bad, so with that in mind I'm looking at bringing in two at the moment.

"We'll have a loan player from a league club hopefully coming in next week and possibly a second loan player in future weeks."

Britton also said that set pieces are proving to be a crucial factor in this division and was critical of the number of free-kicks that his side gave away.

"Set pieces are a massive part of the game in this standard of football, we've noticed that already," he said.

"What I was most annoyed about is that the free-kick for their goal resulted from two fouls within 30 seconds.

"We've given away a few free-kicks away this season and more often than not they end up in your net. The knock down from the free-kick you can't always do something about that but the free-kick you can stop.

"There were too many and it's something we've got to improve on."
